Customers with generic addresses (gmail, yahoo, etc) should ensure
info@babyhawk.com, jess@babyhawk.com and julie@babyhawk.com
have been added to their safe sender list and look for emails from those addresses regularly in their spam filter to prevent difficulties in communicating with us.

We accept payment through Paypal, all major credit cards, money order or personal check.
Please note that all checks must clear before the item will be made and shipped.

The current wait time for mei tais is approximately 10-14 business days plus shipping, Oh Snap carriers may take up to 21 business days. Please remember this is only an approximation, as with anything in life occasionally things do occur to prolong the time a bit (fabric restocking, or illness etc). We do our best to meet these timeframes but we do greatly appreciate your patience and understanding when for whatever reason we are not able to.
Please remember that once a carrier ships, we are no longer able to control the timing of it. That is entirely dependent on the delivery service being used (UPS for domestic and USPS for international). If you live in a location that has problematic mail service, we highly recommend emailing us first to discuss insuring your package before shipment. |

Unfortunately we are no longer able to accommodate order changes on our custom carrier orders. We will however allow cancellations on custom carrier orders within 24 hours of placing your order. (however cancellations for purposes of reordering is NOT acceptable and will not be allowed). In stock carriers ship within 2-3 business days. In stock carriers, and/or accessories, are not eligible for the 24 hour cancellation policy as they are shipped as quickly as possible due to the customers immediate need for the product. If you do need to cancel an in stock order, please contact us as soon as possible after your order and we will do out best to accommodate the request, as long as it is within 24 hours, and your order has not yet shipped. Please ensure that you order exactly what you would like as there will be no exceptions to this policy. If you have fabric matching questions or concerns, please email us before placing your order so we may assist you at info@babyhawk.com If you do discover a problem with your order on your confirmation email, please email us immediately to ensure we can correct the problem. We will not be responsible for errors that result from you not verifying the information on your confirmation email. These are automated replies sent out to offer the opportunity to verify everything is correct. Please take advantage of this. |

Only carriers that are one sided patterns with no additional options can be returned. As long as it is within 14 days of the carriers arrival (determined via tracking/delivery confirmation numbers) and is in new condition, unwashed. You will be refunded the purchase price minus a $5 restocking fee per carrier
and the shipping fee . You must email us before you send the carrier back for authorization and our return address. Carriers
returned without authorization will not be accepted and will be sent back at the cost of the purchaser. Custom orders, double
patterns, pockets and minkee carriers are non-refundable. If you did not pay for shipping (by using a coupon code), the actual
shipping cost will still be deducted for the return.

UPS is now our carrier of choice for domestic shipping in the continental United States. APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail. We will also ship all international packages via USPS to prevent our customers from incurring large brokerage house fees charged by UPS, and Fed Ex etc. Express shipping is available if needed at an additional cost (but please note that it does not expedite your carrier in the custom order process). Parcels are shipped without insurance, unless specified. If you want insurance, it is at your expense!
If you live outside of the United States, you may incur customs fees, please check with your local customs office for details. We are not able to mark items as gifts in order to avoid customs charges. The packages shipped via USPS can take 2-3 weeks on average to reach international destinations. BabyHawk has no control over the parcel once it ships, if the USPS indicates that a delivery was made and your package is missing, you must file a claim with your local post office.

Just a reminder that the shipping costs listed are for retail orders only and wholesale orders will be charged the balance at the time of shipment, unless a specific request is made all wholesale orders will be shipped via best method between USPS and UPS.

Please note: Samples of the fabrics in the design center are provided to us by the manufacturers, and can represent a smaller area than the panel size of the carrier. There are often variations due to the size of the pattern and the repeat of the fabric. We do our best to make sure that you receive an aesthetically pleasing carrier but it may not be an exact replica of the swatch in the design center. If you have any questions, please Contact Us. |

We have three options for our carriers: the regular Mei Tai (approx 16.5 x 21.5) and the Toddler Mei Tai (which is 3 inches taller than the regular mei tai, approx 16.5 x 23.5) And the Oh Snap! SSC (which is approx. 16.5 x 20.5)
The Regular Mei Tai BabyHawk is great for all children from the newborn right up through the toddler years. The Toddler Mei Tai is meant for older children AT LEAST 18 MONTHS or older. The Oh Snap is great for children 15 lbs to 45 lbs and offers buckles and webbing instead of long straps to tie like the Mei Tai. |

The BabyHawk Mei Tai can carry a newborn up to 40lbs.
The BabyHawk Toddler Mei Tai can carry a 18 month old up to 40lbs. The Oh Snap SSC can carry a baby 15lbs to 45lbs. |

Technically it is actually 1" shorter in height than the Mei Tai, but because of the use of seat darts it fits like a taller bodied carrier

Triple padded top straps, foam core bottom strap and the ability to custom design makes it the perfect baby carrier for larger babies! Recommended to use with 15lb to 45lb children, it has unique style and adjustability never seen before in a baby carrier. Fully adjustable by webbing and buckles on the waist and shoulder straps, it makes wearing it a snap!

Mei Tai's are Chinese inspired baby carriers that offer 4 long straps that are tied around the caregiver. Babies and toddlers can be carried on your front, back or hip.

The mei tai is infinitely adjustable between caregivers, works better for newborns and small infants, comes in 2 sizes, and you can customize your mei tai with reverse, xl straps, pockets, minkee, and toy rings.
The Oh Snap is great if you are going to be hiking, carrying heavier children, don’t want long straps dragging on the ground, or don’t want to tie the straps |

The BabyHawk Mei Tai can fit up to a women's size 22/24 or a men's XXL. We also offer xl straps for those that prefer or need longer straps. The actual body size of the carrier (headrest vs toddlerhawk) is not relevant to the size of the individual wearing it.

The straps are 3 3/4 inches wide and the straps are lightly padded to give you enough cushion for a long comfortable ride!

Yes, you can wear a newborn in a BabyHawk Mei Tai! Some babies in fact prefer the mei tai over a sling or pouch. You are also able to breastfeed discreetly in a Mei Tai as well!

Because of the seat darts the baby sits much lower in the carrier and is unable to have the support needed in the early stages to maintain a clear unobstructed airway.

You can wash your BabyHawk on cold with just a little detergent (try putting it in a large lingerie bag or pillowcase to avoid it getting wrapped around the agitator or the straps all twisted) and then line dry. You CAN machine dry but your colors will stay brighter and more vibrant if you line dry.
It is always a good idea when washing your carrier for the first time to include a dye catcher sheet with dark colors to catch any excess dye that may be present. |

Machine wash cold or hand wash. Colors may bleed. Use only non-chlorine bleach as needed. Line dry/warm iron if needed. Do not iron padded straps or headrest.

Yes but only on the Mei Tai's. Because of the construction of the Oh Snap! we are unable to add on pockets or minkee. There is however a cool clip on the waist strap that will accommodate your keys or a small coin purse.
For the Mei Tai's: to add a toy loop it is $5 and to add a pocket it is $10. We also offer xl (extra long) straps for an additional $5. The pocket is the full size of the panel you can't even tell it is a pocket-there are actually a number of pictures of pocket carriers on our site but they look so much like a non pocket carrier that it is hard to tell! I am able to fit 4 diapers, my keys, a cell phone, a compact and an ipod in a pocket! On a reversible carrier, you can choose to have one or two pockets. |

No, because of the size of the bottom strap padding, the BH Hoodie will not fit onto the Oh Snap! baby carriers.

No we do not, we feel that the size of the Oh Snap fits a large enough range of children at this time. It will comfortably support your child up to 45 lbs.

Carriers with Custom Fabrics take a lot of time because we have to wait on your fabric to get to us, make sure we make it just as you had imagined, and it just generally interrupts the flow of "traffic" in our production line. So while we are happy to accept custom fabrics, the cost is $5 more than a carrier with our fabrics.

Minkee is an incredibly soft and cuddly fabric that we can line any of the Mei Tai's with minkee for an additional cost of $10. It is truly the softest fabric you will have ever felt! It is perfect for the winter weather or if you live in a cool climate! I live in Southern California and it is fine for warm weather also. ( I wouldn't recommend wearing it in the desert, though!) You cannot get the lining with a reversible pattern. Minkee is not available on the Oh Snap!

Yes, you can but only on a mei tai! Please note that you cannot have both the minkee lining and a reversible pattern. You are able to choose either a minkee or a reversible but not both. Reversible patterns are not available on the Oh Snap.
